The Lifestyle

Fernie Alpine Resort's legendary powder, non-stop vertical drops and awesome après ski life landed it the number 10 slot in a list of the world's 25 best ski resorts by The 2004 Annual Top 25 Resort Guide that hits newsstands on Oct. 19, 2004.

Resorts were ranked according to average snowfall, vertical drop, skiable acres, a reader survey and an athlete survey. Fernie Alpine Resorts' average snowfalls of 29 feet, five alpine bowls and après ski variety have made the resort a world-class destination, and with three new gliding areas opening up this season, as well as improvements made to dining facilities over the summer, Fernie will continue to climb the charts.
